New photoshoots have been added… check out MissYucki at the Bangkok Aquarium oggling unidentifiable creatures from the depths, and see her lost in the ruins of Bagan, Burma….

ok, so yay, MissYucki has finally pulled her socks up, and updated stuff ….wooeee. Right so, what new, you ask? Well first up we have some new photographs posted in the Events gallery. Namely the photos documenting our First Solo Show: MissYucki Reunion Jo’burg 2007 and the crazy epic photos from our second Trolley Hunt.

The trolley hunt was a tad more wild this time round, being in a grime and gritty filled area in Johannesburg. It wasn’t nearly so quiet as the previous treasure hunt in Braamfontein, and we do think this may have scared some people away, however, the craziness in town did really add to the game. We had teams jumping into taxis, with trolleys in tow, climbing buildings, getting nasty with pigeons, stealing stickers, kidnapping other players, licking glitter, wearing leopard print, and haggling for Nigerian passports! It was truly yucki and heaps of fun…we hope to do it again some time!

MissYucki went off painting late on a friday night… with her paintbrushes, apron, and pink paint, she was all set for a night of splish splash! A MissYucki pageant princess emerged from the canvas, as the soulful tunes of Japanese band “The Meganes” played. After that everyone danced the night away. It was happy times! Yay. Thanks to Bradley, mastermind behind the monthly Pull Party for inviting MissYucki to paint.

Japan was the spot chosen for our 2 year reunion! can you believe it??? Two years and we hadn’t bathed in the presence of MissYucki together, pretty disgraceful, we know. So we had to remedy this in style, and what more delicious spot than Tokyo, a city that lives and breathes yucki?!! So Alba flew off to meet up with Kat, wild karaoke followed! We were not quite the same after that! But we persevered and got cracking making loads of delectable stuff for the Tokyo Design Festa! We churned out dollies, cut up MissYucki stickers, made bags and shirts and prints, until our fingers BLED! Finally the galleries are up, so now you can peruse to your hearts delight! YAY!
