Caravana de las Culturas

MissYucki has been invited to join the “Caravana de la Culturas”, an art and culture exchange programme which will travel from Barcelona, through Novi Sad, Belgrade, and onto Nis in Serbia. The Caravan is promoting cultural exchange through workshops, theatre, discussions, stories and art. Each person who travels on the bus to the different cities is volunteering to run different artistic activities promoting different cultures from around the world. MissYucki will be representing South Africa. She will be sharing stories from South Africa, and her travels all over the world. The caravana programme has been organised by Meri Ilic, the founder of NGO CasaEslava, which furthers bridging the gap between the different cultures living in Barcelona Spain. Spain like Johannesburg, is a veritable melting pot of people from all over the world, and creating a platform for interaction is sometimes difficult but always rewarding.
